Thoughts? I don't get the point of giving an injury update and then including a player in the squad who has already been said to be not yet ready to return.

Virtually the same squad as last week. Lyons back at stand off, Owens to centre and Roberts to cover for Langtree in the 2nd row. Hall onto the bench with Langtree missing.

I would have Butt on the wing over Williams, he was 18th man vs London.

Patton is 1-2 weeks away but looks like they named him to give us 21 players as Kirk was in the 21 but now gone.

Currently running with 17 of our own fit players plus 3 loans. Thats assumimg Maizen is declared fit enough to play.

That’s correct - had to name patten as we need to name 21

we really are on the bones of our arse again - hope the boys can pull

it of on Sunday, but if not I feel season is over

Halifax started well but have been on a really bad run recently.

lookint at the top 6 there’s only 2 teams I can see dropping out of it for us (if we can string some results together) and they are Barrow, who already have one over us, and Fax. That makes tomorrow a must win for me as well

Thomas played for Warrington’s reserves today, so can count him out.

What a joke why is playing for the reserves more important than the first team level, when is a season long loan? The board need to look at bringing in better investments, rather than a status that on the board. Matt Taylor needs to sell his betting shop, and I feel these board members are just bog standard earners like most on this forum. Warrington are sending players out to various clubs and not helping Widnes.

Conflating two arguments that aren’t related into one. Our boards finances aren’t the reason that Warrington are dragging players from us. Likewise, I’m not sure why you are been derogatory to the people who are keeping this club afloat and that is even more impressive if they are “bog standard earners” like you suggest.

Sometimes Coleman baffles me with his selections. To have 3 big forwards on the bench while playing Bent at 10 is mystifying. He is far too small to prop. It also gives Halifax an advantage in the opening stages of the game.

To be honest sport is suppose to be about being competitive not to just stay a float and not make the playoffs every season. This is the reason fans turning away because of having a bang average side. They are bog standard owners they are hardly a Dezzy Beaumont 🙈🤣 Bet on sports day at school you was the type to say it is about taking part. Unbelievable 🤡🙈

I cannot get to the game today. Is Radio Merseyside not covering it?

A far better team effort today, It is a pity that there aren't more here to watch the Vikings play some good rugby.

A much better defence than recently against a good Halifax side, with Jack and Adam Lawson playing well.

So far, all are playing well, team spirit is vastly improved and I'm really looking forward to the second half.

Is that really a good result for us? Lost a 16 point lead and only managed to score once in the 2nd half against a very average Fax side. What does Coleman do at halftime? Because near enough every game we’re shite after halftime. That almost feels like a loss
