@spelly. Really hope that mid week games won't happen, part-time RL is a weekend sport.
Thank God it's not like soccer where they seem to play every night of the week.
Well it looks like they may reappear this season - it is reported that a consortium has been put together and they are applying to the RFL for Halifax’s licence, taking over their playing record

Hopefully our April fixture will be played and money for our club.
Looking at their fixtures, and if the rfl "do a fev" we may end up with games against Batley, Keighley or Swinton. Depending on the groups for everybody else impacted
On our original fixtures, Fev were included, and after their demise, the "replacements" were 'Fax, so......
As I've previously mentioned, there could yet be Chemics v Lions clashes this term, but.............
The 'Yeds, Worky, and Barrow, are also absentees from our calendar, meaning that (if re-replacements do transpire, we could still remain Widnes-less in 2026.
Time, will no doubt tell!
Spelly.
@spelly I think you'd be thankful of no game against Widnes based on results so far 😉
Not really mate!
Always look forward to playing the Chemics, and our record of late against you is OK.
Also, if (hopefully when) you come to ours, you'll put some much needed dosh in the Lions' till.
Spelly.
Don't panic. The word on the street is that Halifax will be back in March.
Paulie xx
Should have a much better chance of taking 4 points off them if they return. A few players have already found other clubs. Fax home and away would have been 2 of the tougher fixtures based on them finishing 5th last season and beating us to end our late run for the playoffs
Didn’t we beat them home and away in regular season ?
Reports on Facebook that 'Fax have been bought by a guy called Martyn Buchan, and they'll be back on the park come Sunday week, against the Broncos.
Spelly.
24 -24 draw at home, 16 - 14 loss away to end our play off hopes.
Well they are back but with a 12 points deduction, which given their thin squad and next game against London will make it difficult to get to the playoffs.
but fans will be happy as will all the clubs that lost fixtures with them

They're back!
Just seen a statement from the RFL, and as per the original fixtures, the Broncos are heading to the Shay on Sunday. It mentions five directors, but Mr Buchan's name is absent from the list, but...........
They're (re) starting with a twelve points deduction.
Spelly.
Points deduction is neither here nor there really, this season's points are irrelevant anyway.
Interesting salfraud had no points deduction as it was unfair !
