C’mon Spelly where are you? Hope he’s ok. Did anyone see him at the game?

I’d have thought he’d at least be celebrating the win on here and anm interested for his take on the Gregson/Lawton stuff.

Probably too busy with kilshaw, they’ve got sheff this weekend they must be planning there new photoshop ideas.

I think we all need to calm down and wait for the facts to emerge

if true absolutely shocking but don’t get caught up in the maelstrom

Swinton have today deleted their responses from Twitter and Facebook where they said they were consulting their legal team. The plot thickens?

@steve Kilshaws crew are not like that.
They wouldn't do it to your sport, our sport, MY sport, but if found guilty I'll be 101% behind a strong lifetime punishment...do you Widnesians agree or disagree?

Or words to this effect 😉

Aiming to deliberately injure a person is miles away from targeting someone who is slow, or defensively weak. And it’s a million miles away from a heat-of-the-moment big shot or head-high. A concerted, planned effort to injure an opposition player, if that’s what has happened here, should face the maximum punishment the laws of the game allow.

Has anyone heard whispers/hints as to how the RFL investigation is getting on?

Also to be taken into account is that we lost 3 players for the rest of the season during this game.

Rumour mill up this way and coming from a current club director is that no action on kilshaws match behaviour and a small possibly suspended club fine and warning of future conduct over the noose picture is most likely outcome..if that's true it's  basically swept under the carpet but not one bit surprising

The RFL are certainly dragging their feet on this one. Maybe they are waiting to include Vella's performance yesterday in their report....and Pigs might Fly.

It's ongoing. It's only been a week and they're dealing with part-time players and clubs. Give them a chance.

I would add my previous comment isn't fact..it's the opinion of someone within the game that believes that will be the most likely outcome... unfortunately as unsavoury as kilshaws behaviour was in the stand it's common knowledge within the game that targeting injuries is just part and parcel and goes on everywhere...and that there's a burden of proof on whether kilshaw created the noose PIC or not it's almost certain the club will say it wasn't him and a lower ranking staff member.. impossible to prove otherwise so likely a reprimand and possible club fine ... although they did say alot could depend on how gregson got hold of the pic...discover it by himself or have it handed to him or made aware of it by a Swinton player..if it was the latter that could change things

The Swinton player that sent it Gregson also owned up, Swinton will stand by Kilshaw I think.

Sure the targeting of injuries no doubt takes place, but fact remains those pictures and comments bring the game into disrepute.

Put it this way, if our fans made a poster of Kinshasa with a noose around his neck and a slogan of ‘Get Kilshaw’, I’m sure the authorities would get upset! I await the outcome.

@jdgsport

Do you think the RFL have yet had enough time to investigate this incident, James?
