@ringo-bells With Finney?

Makes sense that the club have advertised for an assistant coach.

@viking25 No idea about Finney, O'Brien replacing Tyrone McCarthy in their Scholarship/Academy.

Strange timings again, we've had it in the past with Purtill and Sheens going. This time it's not the coach but the Chief Exec and Assistant coach/performance analyst.

We have just had 4 months of off season and then they leave 3 weeks before the season proper starts at the same time as our first friendly game.

What I would say is does a part time Championship club with little in the way of TV money need a Chief Executive if they have a general manager, a board of directors and an experienced coach who has previously been in a director of rugby position at a SL club?

I'm pleased with Kear and with 10 new players I think we have a decent squad for him to work with.

@mckviking I don't think there's a vision of full time in the foreseeable future !!! Dwindling season ticket sales and a obvious lack of money dictate we are where we are unless a backer steps up

Don't worry, if I win the roll-over Lotto on Wednesday I'll put a few quid in the Club's coffers!

OK, everyone, drum roll - I DID have a win last night.....

Not the big one though - just two numbers so don't get your hopes up yet.

Should the free ticket I won for the next game actually win the big prize - a triple roll over - I'll keep my promise and donate a few extra quid to the club.

No,definitely not.Wigan and Leeds don't even need a chief exec so that rules out part timers in the second division.

@dan1

Very few jobs work in sequence with the RL calendar! He may be looking for, or have, a new job in the real world!!!

He has teaching qualifications I believe.  In any event both who have left can only apply for alternative jobs when they are advertised.

And now I believe a director has left…

Are we sure everything is well with the club?

Filing on companies house confirms this. What was his role on the board anyway?

Didnt think he’d stay long considering his lad hasn’t been at the club for a few years now to be fair
