I think Lawton is doing very well to keep his temper. It is obvious they are targeting him & Ferres has hit him a fair few times.
That was a blatant Featherstone knock on , never a" went back"
Ferres is frustrated and losing the plot another penalty to us. Come on you vikings!
Jesus H Christ how many are we gonna bomb here??? Jack!!!!
We just are lacking composure again here. We are forcing unnecessary passes when it is not needed.we are trying to score off every play.
Good night
Featherstone are the better team but once again we have not got a level playing field. Most decisions gone Featherstone 's way. Blatant forward pass, a blatant knock on both waved play on. Lawton ripped that ball one on one. Referees verdict? penalty to Featherstone.
Widnes are definitely playing under covid rules.
Not going closer than 2 metres to featherstone players to avoid test and trace telling them to isolate, avoiding contact with the ball in case it's been touched by anybody with covid.
He’s been particularly lax on picking up forward passes by Fev today.
fev played well
widnes to many errors
ref did miss a few forward passes
They did well to get back into the game, but Featherstone always looked like winning.
You never know, with a week off, we may have a full squad for the next game. Any news on Tomkins and Jewitt!!!!
London hammered York today.
Don't know why people keep asking about Jewitt, been explained plenty of times on here that he was signed by Sheens as more as backroom staff than as a player.
Let’s hope he’s doing a great job behind the scenes then. Given our shortage of forwards in general and props in particular has killed off any realistic chance of picking up enough points on the field to make the top six.
Score massively flattered them.
Feel sorry for Finnigan, having to coach with one arm behind his back. Again we only used 15 men until the last few minutes and finished the game without a prop on the pitch.
I think he’s doing a good job in the circumstances, lack of props is killing us. Can only hope we have Clough and Farnworth back for London in two weeks time.
