That’s a shame, he is a good player when fit and would have been a good addition for us

Lazy, bit of a sh*t (no swear filter on this site!) house and always injured.

Glad he's not come back here.

Barely missed a game at Mackay Cutters and came out well on all the stats. I think he’ll do well at Leigh.

Joking aren't you ? Years and years we had of him sat in the stands more than he was on the pitch, why would we want some more of that ? Even when he did play he was nothing special.

Gerrard was decent for us, but at the end of the day, not the sort of aggressive leader that we needed/need though...

Despite what some others have said he was a good servant to the club but lost his edge when the injuries started. He would have bolstered our squad & I think he will shine again at this level where in the past he has broken the line & made very good yards whereas in SL he did not. However he is not exactly the type of prop we want which is a seasoned, gnarled type with a bit of controlled aggression. Having said that I am not so sure we will get that particular player this season. So on balance it's a 50/50 choice for me. Anyway it seems he has not given us the choice to make & perhaps a new UK club is best for all concerned.

With two weeks to go, and no news of further signing, maybe Gerrard could have been an option?

Otherwise, I'm sure Sheens has everything under control.

The only time he showed any aggression was to the girl he was seeing. Danny Walker had to help him once at wire ffs

Sheens says he’s still looking for a number 8 or 10.

A no 8 for sure - Jay didn't look so good when he was helped off near the end.

Apparently he’s rolled his ankle and could miss the Oldham match.

Not a serious injury fortunately. But does underline the need for another prop or two in the squad.

Sheens says he is definitely looking for props after his experience at Hkr were he finished the season without any ,he says ideally you want 2, on the field ,2 on the bench and 2 either injured or suspended
