@mt it’s just shuffling a pack that’s a card short - who goes centre then ? We have played second rows in the centre before which backfired, fozard played half back before and brown has covered hooker, but it’s up to JK now
@ditton-donkey - I would rather have a second row or a winger at centre than go into the game without a recognised hooker in that role. Either Wilde or Ince (with Brookes or Holroyd coming in on the wing) will have to do. It’s not ideal but I much prefer it to playing Brown at hooker for 80 mins.
It’s good to see Hatton back in the squad I thought we really missed his energy in the middle last week.
I saw that Newcastle struggled to overcome Mayfield in their cup game yesterday. So I expect that Dewsbury should be a tougher test than last weeks game.
Dewsbury will be bang up for this at home on the back of a string of wins. We shouldn’t under estimate them. Obviously we ought to be winning this but I don’t think it’s a formality.
