Unfortunately we all know some players need to move on as just not good enough mate. Yeah a win, but at least Kear has a chance to see players before his revamp. 🥖🥖

We made very hard work of a very poor team but at least it’s a win. Thought we moved the ball about well but often made wrong decisions and but for some woeful passing could of been thirty up at half time. Hope we can keep Dixon and Roberts as we have the making of a fine partnership on that wing and along with Field who makes a lot of yards we have the making of a good side again

Don’t think the score line reflects the performance.

We created enough chances in the first half to put the game to bed. The final ball let us down.

Defence was relatively solid; 5 halves of rugby where the opposition haven’t run through us- the 3 tries conceded have come off kicks.

Next will be interesting, Newcastle will be a step up.

Like some have said, we should have had this game won in the first half an hour. Some bad handling when all we had to do was catch the ball to score. They also used the conditions better, kicking high balls and causing us to drop a lot of them looking into the sun.

They also played a weak referee, who didn’t stop them from wasting time, by a player going down “injured” nearly every set of 6, so they could get there breath back, especially in the second half, where I made it over 8 minutes stoppage time.

Not the greatest spectacle, lots of dropped ball; we could have had 3 more tries at least to make it a more comfortable scoreline.

That being said, three consecutive wins and a comeback win again which can only be considered positives.

Let's see how we get on against better sides over the next few weeks.

Feel like dewsbury have been our bogey team home and away sinice relegation.

scrappy but a wins a win and could of been much more comfortable 3/3 and 2 wins from behind should build up a bit of confidence

We are improving week by week. A very hot day for a game of RL .

Are we really improving week by week? Happy to get the win but was it a step up on 38-0 away from home at Workington? Obviously the score flattered Dewsbury but there’s plenty of work to be done before we play some stronger teams.

@mt I think so. In weeks gone by we would have lost today. I can see signs of improvement even if some can't.

Did anyone catch the announcement of the number of spectators? I seem to have missed it.

Thanks.

@hans-moleman - I’d say some aspects have improved. Defensively we were pretty tight but the number of handling errors was far too high and put us under pressure and we lacked ideas at times in attack.

Never heard it mentioned or the MOTM.

Me neither. Thought Owens or Farnworth would get MOM although Dixon also impressed.

Very similar to the London game, a dip in performance from the 20-30th minute which we did against the Broncos and conceded points.

Keeping Farnworth fit is a massive plus for us, I can't remember a real run of games for him previously so if it stays injury free he will get better each week.

When was the last time we won 3 in a row in the league?  Got to be a good few years?!
