An excellent win against a team who had a decent win last time against Batley. Played some decent rugby against really difficult elements as well with everyone playing a one unit that was difficult to break down, Dewsbury never even made a line break. Not sure if we are still top but well worth our record to date.👍👍

Second now on points difference, but a great start to the season, hopefully good performance against fax with a healthy crowd

table is interesting with York and batley bottom and Toulouse losing 2 out of 3 !

league 1 is also interesting with the play off winners playing champ 12 th place

Happy journey home, well done to players and staff. Great defence again, if we can keep it up there's no reason we won't be playing meaningful games at the end of the season.

A good win today, a lot easier than I thought it would be. JJ played well and Fozzard when he came in, but Langtree was my MOM, even with 10 minutes in the sin bin.

On current form we should beat Halifax next week and make it 4/4.

Widnes were really good today and never looked like loosing.  Langtree was my mom but everyone had a decent game. Well done lads

We need Tom to be on top form with his kicking. I would assume Dixon for butt and I would use roberts instead of gregson, but doubt that happening

Yeah I think Dixon for Butt and it does seem Coleman likes Gregson. Strong squad and these players like Roby left out etc will get game time when injuries occur. On a positive at least Roby getting game time but I also think Tilleke and Bent  needs game time elsewhere.

How can Roby be loaned out when Flemming is doing nothing and with Gregson offering nothing and Bent cannot get in the side. Whats the use of having a fully fit squad for once and not dropping under performing players. Coleman needs to man up and do the right thing, but lets not forget this is widnes and we don't do things normal.

Prisoner I would love to see Flem and Gregson dropped, but it seems some players can't be dropped by Coleman. Needs some balls Coleman and pick his best side rather than his favourites face fit scenario. 🤣

I'm sure 'Colemanballs' is a 'thing'

Paulie xx

But Roby should have played, Jack's rubbish!

Leave the team selection to those who are better qualified to judge. Up the Chemical Vikings.

Unfortunately the pass 4 coaches who supposedly qualified failed at Widnes. Early days but Roby should never have been dropped being player of the month. I wish Coleman the best as we all want a successful team.

Another step in the right direction.

The conditions were difficult and we made lots of mistakes, but the attitude was excellent and bar allowing a bit of a soft try, the defence was really good. I thought the chase from the kicks was also good, especially Owens.

Langtree and Fozard were excellent, Kirk put a real shift in, as did Johnstone, but they all turned up. Gregson and Langtree combined well for the latter's try, Gregson is a clever player and I reckon we haven't seen the best of him yet. He put the ball down early on, which was poor, but there were mistakes all over the park today.

Next week is a different challenge against a good team, but the start of the season has been good, the attitude is good, so no reason why it can't be another win.

Paulie, "Colemanballs", that cracked me up, hope the recovery is going well.

Coaches coach - and suffer if they lose!

Keyboard coaches just treat it like computer generated mahjong and ask for a 'new game' - no suffering involved for errors made!!!!

Fair play to Coleman doing a great job at the moment. Early days and what I like he is realistic with his team. Saying he is no fool and knows he will lose to a better team, but his side will keep fighting for each other. As a fan I can't ask for more than 100% effort win or lose. If we all get on board and support him, then more money will be available for better players. I am proud with the players and just a few extra top quality players needed, then I am sure we be competing in the top 4 with no problems. 👍

I have not seen enough games to judge this team. I have seen on TV streams and the TV games only. I do hope to see Langtree play because he seems the type of player I will enjoy watching. No nonsense and won't take a step back.
