That’s better. Much needed try.
Yes, maybe we are planning a sneaky move, score nothing in the first half and all our points in the second. They won't see that coming.
This is the same pattern every week. We spurn chances, let soft tries in on our own line & kick too much on attack. This results in us always playing catch up rugby which is never easy. There is still a long way to go & hopefully we may still win. We all know our main problem is lack of forwards, especially props, but the above issues also need sorting.
Our goal line defence is (again) rubbish.
Another soft try for Dewsbury
18-6
Maybe we are lulling them into a true sense of security?
In all seriousness, Dewsbury are no good either so hopefully we can get a grip second half and maybe scrape a win.
Not holding my breath though.
Drop goal 19-6
probably cant afford to but i would bin finnigan and have a look at chris chester
The lack of props is just a convenient excuse now.
We’ve had set after set on their line and can’t score. Pathetic.
I can’t think of a single reason why Finnigan should keep his job.
Ht thank God. Another very poor effort for the first half, goal line defence terrible but no doubt SF will say it will be different next year. Dread the second half😳😳😳
Do you really think that bringing in Chester, McDermott, Littler or Duffy or all of them together, will make any difference this season? We seem just to be just about managing to scramble a team together at the moment and seeing the season through. Not a good way to retain fans for next year.
My own view is that Finnegan should be judged with players that he has brought in next year, but that is not saying that he must take blame for the poor performances this season.
I despair. This is not going to convince stay away fans or attract new ones (or entice the wavering ones).
Can’t go on like this…
Think about the fact Dewsbury are missing some players too....
Senior Players with the exception of Steve Tyrer need to play a hell of a lot better, regardless of the Props.
