Heard Mike Butt has signed for Salford. He's been decent for us.
I don't think I've ever seen Mike Butt drop a high ball - he is super reliable in that respect. I don't think I've ever seen him run the length of the pitch to score a try either, which is kind of what you want from a winger. On balance would be sad to see him go though.

Agree he has but he is now 31. Surely Frank Sergent at 20 who is probably quicker is a better bet longterm with cover from our squad number 1. Connel has also played wing in SL last year for Salford.
I have liked Mike Butt on the few games a season I watch, but I feel it might be a plan to get Sergent and Ince as our first choice wingers next season. Usually i like 3 wingers for a squad and it is probably easier to get a loan from Super League if cheaper and with the new structure. It is centre, halfbacks and two big forwards to improve this team.
