If Jack was selected at FB he would do a job. He may have lost a yard of pace, but experience would make up for that. He's the consummate professional that brings so much to the team regardless of what position he plays. He'll only be appreciated after he's not there, anymore. JO & Gilly run the show, have done for years, and that's why we've just played in a Cup Final, and have a great chance of reaching a GF.I can't believe no one suggested Jack for going back to full back 🙄😂

He missed a few games early season and Coleman gave Connell his head. The lad took his chance, fair play to him. Now, in a few weeks, NC will be gone. That's the nature of the sport in 2026. Rochdale confirming this morning Dan nixon and Jack Hansen will leave the club 👀👀👀
I’ve seen Rochdale’s last three games, Hansen is a decent half and I agree he is more of a runner which will compliment Gilly. He does have a decent kicking game too from what I saw, Dalimore didn’t play the last game so Hansen did a lot of the kicking, scored a nice try with a little kick over the line from 5 yards out which he chased and grounded.
Nixon only played the last one of the three, can’t say I noticed him though he did score the first try. Tbf, Oldham had most of the ball so there wasn’t a lot of chances for the Rochdale backs to shine.
