Heard there is a covid outbreak in camp and at least 3 players have tested positive.

That’s all we need! Would be a typical Widnes twist though! 🙁

Heard Farnworth is out with covid and that's why Baker is not in the 21 man squad either.

Baker, Farnworth and Dwyer the 3 out from last week. Doro, Roby and Grady in. Strong 13 but missing a prop on the bench.

Good starting 13, weakish bench.

Good luck to the lads.

Think we have a much tougher task now without these players. Baker, Farnworth and Dwyer have all gone well first two games for me. Bench is very lightweight. Hopefully Doro makes an impact on debut.

We’re doing fine so far this evening. If there has been an outbreak and we’ve only lost three players we must be following the rules well which is good to hear

Looks like if this is true about the three who were out leaving the forwards and bench looking weak, proved to be the case. Not having BAKER, DWYER and FARNWORTH, JOWITT being injured and then the injury to COOK and the unnecessary sin-binning of Doro (when we needed him to stay on the pitch), we were busted at the end and so it proved. The game went away from us without Doro on the pitch and their big pack proved too much. CLOUGH was outstanding, and GRADY very industrious, but we needed a real contribution from more than what we had available. The pack needs bolstering I think.

Clough gave everything and was my man of the match. Jack also played well.

Agree it looks like we will be short of forwards again next week, but as it’s a game that we are not expected to win, let’s try to utilise our backs a bit more and try out some attacking plays.

Apologies, I should have said DORO Off the pitch!! not on it! CLOUGH reminds me very much of Derek PYKE.

I’d agree with Clough as MOM, thought Grady, Owens, Cross and Doro (apart from the sinbin incident) acquitted themselves well.
We were unlucky to lose three forwards who would have made the 17 and it almsot certainly cost us the win but I’d still be concerned we don’t have enough forwards in the squad whilst we have numerous spare outside backs not getting in the side.
