3 ex widnes players could be playing for Cornwall next season according to rumors. Mullally never really kicked on after leaving widnes but I think he would have been a decent player for us next season
Maybe winning the GF at Old Trafford doesn't count as 'Kicking on'?
Who are the 3 ?
thought they were being mainly Cornish players - doubt if there are many to start as they will have to tempt them from union, perhaps they will have trials ( as Wolfpack did but few made it through)

He played in 2 World Cups and won a Grand Final with Leeds!
I think you really mean 'Widnes never really kicked on after Mullally left'.
Whoops.Looks like you made a slip McKeever and now there's a pile in.Alright,Mullally won a SL grand final with Leeds but I think we can agree he hardly set the world alight which I think was the point being made.Leeds never retained his services whilst he was at peak age of 28 and then he fizzled out.
I meant for the size and potential of him I genuinely thought he would still be playing super league and be a dominant player, he seemed to always be a fringe player
@ditton-donkey OAB Buckley and mullally

From what I remember of him, his attitude stank the place out.
Anyway, let's not pretend winning a grand final medal is a great achievement, it's hardly on par with the Aussie equivalent. Plenty of ordinaries have a European SL winners medal.He happened to be there at the time.

Lets not pretend that a grand final winners ring is the goal of every pro eh, some real bitching going on here.
@mckeeverviking
thanks for that - where was OAB last - Salford ? And Buckley just left us, mullally released
so no transfer fees
probably all going down on a motorbike and a sidecar
@ditton-donkey Olly was previously at Huddersfield.
Mullally bought a camper van last year and spent most of his time down in Cornwall and working odd jobs, just living life off the grid, suspect its an ideal move for him

Hmmmm Cornwall or Widnes?
Tough choice if given the option...
What's up have the signings dried up 🤣
Don’t knock it - Cornwall is a nice spot and a good place to spend a summer, if you’ve got nothing better to do.
As for the attempt at expansion …. 😂😂😂
