St Helens prop on 2 week loan.
He was the reserves player of the year last season. He has been at Whitehaven earlier this season. He looks a big lad. Here's hoping he settles in well. We certainly needed at least one loanee forward with at least four out at present. Welcome aboard Brett.
Another Widnes lad, hope he does well even if we will lose him back to Saints
Hoo bloody ray
@ditton-donkey
I hope this will be the first of several links with Saints. The rumour mill would have us believe that our previous CEO had knocked back a number of offers by Saints, of players available for loan. How true that is is anybody's guess, but the fact that Bailey is the first one and the CEO has gone, suggests that there may be something in it!
How did he get on against York?
Sounded like he had a decent game
Brett Bailey was great today, he's a big unit and he worked hard.
He only came on about half an hour in the second half but his injection of heft helped turn the game. The size of him!
@wirralviking which ceo had gone
It was the most recent one, who previously headed up the Academy, sorry his name escapes me!
Fill Phinney
The same bloke was allegedly syphoning the Foundation Money into the first team squads wages, almost causing the demise of the Foundation
His 2 weeks loan has expired & only played once due to no game last week. I have not seen anything about an extension but we really do need him against Wakefield. Has anyone heard anything on this?
Bailey is definitely a big 'unit'. Widnes lad, too, I'm led to believe.
Paulie xx
I’m pretty certain Brett was sat in front of us with the other injured players in the South stand yesterday (Langtree, Ince, Field and Grayson). Didn’t have the club training kit on but funny how he was with the players still. I wonder if we’re keeping him a bit longer? Hope so - I thought the other loanee Nisbet was average at best yesterday (albeit at centre). Crying out for Roby to fill that gap from the start.
