Why not scrap it completely?
What, Leeds ? Works for me 😁
Who could possibly resist a weekend in Leeds ? Apart from me that is.
We don't agree much but on this we do, maybe Cornwall would be a good shout.
To be fair Mick, if we put down our keyboards and had a pint and a natter in the pub I think we would probably find we agreed about a good few things.

So people complain about travelling anywhere & spending money and traffic and parking, lack of crowds, only going for a day & numerous other reasons, but you think it would be a good idea to play it over 300 miles away, in holiday season, at peak time/prices?
Seems a perfectly reasonable shout.... 🤣
Does anyone go for the full weekend nowadays for these events.
I can barely stomach 80 mins of our game, never mind anybody else’s.
Quite. I can never understand the clamour for Magic Weekend either. I like rugby, but I don't want to be sat on a plastic seat with limited legroom for 3x 80 minute matches.
A double-header at a push; but I'd sooner go to a one-off game in a packed house or on the road.

Yep love my three day match away trips at the moment there is only York
Cornwall doesn't even have a stadium in the whole county. Not that you'd get many fans doing the 600 miles round trip anyway. Daft idea.

On a selfish note I wouldn't care anywhere but Leeds. On a serious note the RFL are pricks how hard was it to rearrange fixtures to avoid clashes with Football, I am 100% certain they would of with the Magic Weekend or even they already have.
I get the idea of a weekend with all the clubs playing at a venue that is new, in the sense that travelling fans would enjoy the area as well as the games and perhaps local inhabitants could be enticed along to see what the game was about.
What I don’t understand is why you would want to have everybody play a game over the weekend in the heartland of the game - it just seems to inconvenience fans of all teams playing - it’s an away game for everybody, nobody is going to watch all the matches and the Residents of Leeds aren’t going to show up as their team is in a higher league, although I suppose you might get a few looking for trouble with the Fev faithful.
Arranging it for Leeds is a complete waste of money, time and effort - about par for the course for the RFL, sadly.
