To be fair, it is a decent venue. It could have been a lot worse. On the downside, we will no doubt end up with a third fixture against Leigh who will be strong favourites against us.
Please don't tell me the RL never checked availabilty with Blackpool first before compiling the fixture list. They wouldn't be that daft would they ?

It is a crap venue for a two day event. nothing near by for fans and who the hell would book a long weekend there.
It’s also bad for parking, you struggle to find a parking place for an ordinary league match, where would all the extra supporters park?
Probably be a smaller gate than a Leeds home crowd to be fair.
But with a Leeds home game, a lot of the supporters will walk or get a bus to the match, but with the Big Bash, nearly everyone will be coming from outside Leeds, meaning a lot more traffic and everyone trying to find somewhere to park.
@farnworth-viking Headingley has hosted numerous games without Leeds being involved. There was 20 odd thousand there when we played Cas in the play off final.I still say it's a boring choice of venue, though.
Does anyone go for the full weekend nowadays for these events.
I can barely stomach 80 mins of our game, never mind anybody else’s.
be no one there

All the time plus for York away.
Who could possibly resist a weekend in Leeds ? Apart from me that is.

We don't agree much but on this we do, maybe Cornwall would be a good shout.
Why not scrap it completely?
"A good idea son"
Is there a decent ground in Cornwall ? I mean an actual stadium, not a RU pitch.
