Don't know about anyone else but sick to the stomach with the absolute crap people talk on here...twitter ..social media is getting beyond a joke ...if you listen to the conspiracy theories..we've got a "head of communications" that's working undercover for the KGB(Oldham).... deliberately weakening us for Oldham's gain..... apparently our squad for 2024 is set ....8 contracted ...10 from Swinton...8 from Oldham ...were skinter than a hobo in a cardboard box...even tho club accounts say otherwise....just a general question...do you actually not get bored of talking complete and utter b#llocks ??..little bird tells me that during the season two players imparticularly have been seen as disruptive influencs within the group..and others haven't been seen as remotely anywhere near value for money and hey guess what just so happens those players are within several that aren't retained and going elsewhere...maybe just maybe not everything is black n white (excuse the pun)...only thing people are getting right is the lack of communication.. engagement...in a time of IMG when it's absolutely vital...we seem to have took an axe and chopped our own feet off...just let s#it play out..yes it's frustrating but let stuff play out ...truths come out ...rumours and BS wilt....amen

Cumbria Viking probably everyone here doesn't know what goes on behind the scenes. I know Joe Edges mum from school and Lawton only. I could get different view points from them both to be honest. There is always 2 sides to a story and unless we are permanently at the club, it is hard to make facts on here. If a few players are disruptive then a place can become toxic nate. All we need as fans is probably more transparency from the club to give us more faith. We use to have a fans forum meeting on Mondays once a month. Bring that back I say lad 💪👍

You're right, social media tripe in particular can be toxic, but there is actually three sides to every story - the version from disgruntled players who are being let go / not being selected, the version that the club drips out with pro-club spin on it, and lastly the truth. 99.999% of widnes 'fans' do not know the truth, so they spit out one of the other sides of the story claiming to be 'in the know' when they know NOTHING.
With regards your last point on transparency - I agree again but actually, all we need is more ambition from the club in the transfer market and better choices of coaching staff to give us more faith.
I'm not sure why it bothers anyone that much - tittle tattle,gossip and rumours.Water off a duck's back to me.Amusing if anything, rather than annoying.Some of it is just wind up stuff such as the Oldham and Ah Van topic on here.We are just a rugby club with 3000 fans,hardly Real Madrid.Nobody else notices or cares.

Yeah agree and sometimes favouritism and players not getting what they are worth too. Agree also buying better players and with a little more ambition does give you more faith. Plus a decent coach helps who gets results.
