We need a quality centre with strength, pace and that can give a pass. TKL for example. Then we need 1x half back with a running game to complement kicker/organiser. At the moment we are playing with 2 kicker/organisers. Dennis Moran for example.
If i was being fussy a full back with pace and a step that can return the ball and make yards from broken play.
The pack is solid, but we have lost the zip of Fozzard with no JJ. When did we last score a try from our own half?
@farnworth-viking Fleming is solid as are most of our backs but teams can kick to us knowing we can't beat a man and go 50/60 metres then we get hemmed in making more work for the pack
anybody with pace and a ability to beat someone would give us a threat lol like a Dixon !!! I know I'll get slated for that one !!
There's always room for improvement in every position, it's not like we have any NRL standard players. We don't have the financial clout that other teams have in the boardroom, but come on Guys, we've lost 1 game all season and the fan meltdown has commenced.

Teams are knocking points off each other and we all know players are required to give competition for places. The problem is the player pool of top quality is not around unless pay top money. Warrington on social media are moaning about there squad depth so how are we going to cope if they are moaning? One fan said they are rubbish and Widnes will beat them. 🤣
Personally I prefer to stay positive and keep supporting them as i am bored of the moaning. Negativity just brings others down and makes things toxic, but I prefer solutions. 😎 😎 If i could strengthen it be a centre, fullback, prop and another halfback in the mold of Dennis Moran please.
We all know the financial situation our clubs in. Having said that we have needed to improve in the center position for a few seasons now. We can all agree our packs improved✅ patten is an improvement ✅losing jj is a blow but with the poor recruitment for our squad players and then losin 4 players due to not getting minutes means we are heavily dependent on DR’s and loans. Hopefully the money freed up can mean a decent signing coming in.
I personally thought there was an air of inevitably about the second half on Sunday, speaking amongst ourselves at the game we all thought Batley would turn it around. I also think we would all have took the points return at this stage of the season too.
