@frankg good point Frank, the 4yr plan. It would be good if the club could release something regarding this. What are we 2yrs + into this?

Coach, Kear or otherwise, needs to be announced.

Today even if it had been ended up 44-20, or something like that, at least a bit of fight.

So by my reckoning, there have been single figure scores for 7 of the 15 matches played this season, not counting Halifax where we won 9-8.

Attacking play is abysmal.

@cj91 we are throwing the towel in as soon as we drop behind, no stomach for the fight it would appear.

Team got no confidence now, not prepared to throw the ball around or take a risk

sadly Lyons is not up to it at all, new fb required if Roby and Owens are not back

little creativity in attack - new hub required

good to see an interchange hooker, hulme starting too !
fleming back - about time, best centre we have

I'd like to see Lyons taken out of the firing line for a bit. Play Holroyd at FB where he played a lot of games for Workington until the return of Owens/Roby.

Hopefully Johnson can be back soon, as a rotation of him, Doro, Farnworth, Field and Baker is actually not that bad a base at all.

If anything, I'd be looking for new centres and a scrum half with a matter of urgency.

I just don't rate Lyons at all, and is a League 1 or a Widnes amateur player at best. To be honest quiet a few players need to be gone, and a new coach required soon, so they can see who he wants from this squad. No passion or pride which means sad times. Luckily we won the first 4 games otherwise we be in a relegation fight. 🙈🙈🥖🥖🥖

Lyons looked impressive but small in his first few superleague appearances but has not progressed at all in 3 or 4 years. I dont believe he would get a contract at any other championship club on current form but the same could be said of most of our squad.

There are not many players ftom the current squad that Iwould want to be here next year except Farnworth, Fozzard, Lawton if he can be bothered to get fit and put the effort in, Craven and Owens. The rest if out of contract can try to steal a living elsewhere.

Very true not many worth a contract and unfortunately we can't get rid of them all. My opinion need a coach soon so at least gives him a chance to bring his own team. Fleming hasn't done too badly and I probably add him to your list. Some others might do better under a good coach, but some just not good enough and poor attitude.

Lyons probably isn’t good enough, but higher payed players, including Smith, Craven and Fozard are more culpable than him. They’ve been non existent

Some of the players’ attitude is a disgrace. As soon as the opposition go 2 tries up they give up. Not acceptable, but neither is not having a coach for 6 weeks.

Shambolic is putting it politely.

Looks very much like they sacked Vinegar as a knee jerk reaction to woeful results with no replacement in mind/lined up. ROB took the reins and the board all said a prayer hoping it would work, guess what, one shambles turned into a bigger shambles. The board are now scratching around like a flock of hens wondering what plan ''C'' is and so far it looks like Jack shoite is the answer. Don't you just despair at this mess

I feel sorry for Craven & Smith playing behind that 'Pack' we have. Any ball they do have is  squandered because the edges are fooking woeful. Smith, I imagine, will be 'done' after this season. If DC had any sense, he'd go and have a season or 2, before he finishes behind a decent pack. The Club is rank rotten, and doesn't deserve the support it still receives on the terraces. It's a crunchie Show from top to bottom.

Paulie xx
