August Fixtures

Having refound some momentum with a good performance in defeat against Toulouse followed by a trio of wins we now find ourselves just one point off the top six. Just three games in August

Newcastle (A)

York (H)

Halifax (A)

If we can avoid any slip ups against a Newcastle side who are poor but scrapping for survival and against a resurgent York side who have also just about put themselves back in play-off contention, then the match at the Shay will be a proper four-pointer.

Agree with everything you say MT. I think we should be aiming to win the three of them. A Newcastle victory should take us back to sixth (Halifax at home to Featherstone) and then we need to consolidate that against York making the Halifax game a must win four pointer. We also have to travel to London which could also be a nail biter so late in the season

Yeah, smiling at his mate, a Widnes fan from Wolverhampton.

He's a decent Ref. A Kiwi based in Leigh.

Paulie xx
