Cas’s ground is in a better state than the DCB bloody L
What song tune Kid?
Seats covered in dust and bird poo, toilets are a mess, whole place is soul less. Realise it’s a HBC issue, not WV and money is probably right but could certainly do with freshening up. If I win the euros on Friday I’ll sort it!

Nothing really is it,a clean up and fresh paint? As for soulless the place can be, and has been rocking.Depends on the game and crowd itself.
Just another thought, we have empty ends; so is there no chance of flags being put over the seats at one end to make it a bit more decorative?
Obviously would need to be co-ordinated with supporters and those who have flags/want to have flags made.
Stadium is OK, Cas and Wakefield are far far worse. Seats need a clean, lick of paint. Surely the council have decorating contracts. It's not big money, small team a week or 2's work. The new scoreboard is an improvement.
They need to look at opening the social club again before games now restrictions are over maybe split the profits so the club get some money. Interview with some of the coaching staff after the game and the MOM.
Fans nights once a month in the stadium with updates, interviews with current and former players and a raffle/quiz. Watch an evening training session or sit in a box for a game.
Get a kids club going before the start of the game, use the stadium or a small section of the car park near the shop/reception with chemic involved, some merchandise and some food, face painting, fancy dress competition etc. Again prizes to walk out with the players the following game and a few mini rugby balls for the runners up.
Half time on field competitions, race from the sticks to the half way line, goal kicking competition give away a shirt to the winner.
For me it's too much just turn up, watch the game then go home. 1. It's doesn't maximise revenue 2. Much more for people to do these days, need to make it an experience and get the kids involved.
I still remember the half time comp where that fella went flying over the advertising boards
I do, wasn't he blind folded? Madness that was but entertaining! Lucky he wasn't injured the way he went over.

Some good ideas there Dan, why don’t you email your ideas to the club.
Restrictions aren’t over though, not at the Halton stadium anyway. You’d think we were still in peak Covid times when you step in that ground!
A lot of thorough work needs to be done on working out why our fan base has dropped so much.
Not really.Piss poor performances and results since 2016.Simple.
To a point. We’ve had better attendances with worse teams. I thought with all of the moaning about non season ticket holders not getting into early games, that we had hundreds of fans eager to grab a ticket. Maybe those complaining were the only ones who wanted a ticket. Widnes fans (not talking about casual fans) haven’t returned like I thought. We’ve always had a core of about 2500 home fans who were there for the long term.
I was pretty annoyed at the way I was treated as a none season ticket holder.
But it has prompted me to purchase a season ticket for future seasons.

Without really wanting to tread over old ground again, the club did make it very clear what the likely scenario would be with the return of fans to stadiums I.e. season ticket holders get preference and may be the only way to guarantee a seat e.t.c. There were a few people on here complaining about the club in this respect which was confusing.
Anyway, its great you've decided to get a season ticket in future - if you can make use of it every match then everybody wins.
What is really bad is the decisions by the council with regards to the stadium on match days as it reflects really badly on the club imo. However, the club needs to be far more creative next season to make the day more of an event than a match when all restrictions are lifted.

I think he was blindfolded and had to run from the half way and put the ball down where he thought the try line was. 😂😂

Over 100 dead a day seems peak to me
The government just want you all to forget about It now and jolly well get on with things
Not under any sensible definition of “peak” it doesn’t. There were over 1000 deaths some days at one point.
