It is usual for the club to put an obituary tribute on the club web site when a former player dies. I note with sadness this has not happened in the case of Alan Briers who played for 3 years for Widnes, including a try scoring appearance at Wembley against Hull KR when we won the Challenge Cup in 1964.
Surely this should be rectified asap & hopefully a minutes silence/applause at the NW Crusaders game on Sunday.
