    —————– in the 1895 semi-final?

All the Lions I’ve asked have replied “Widnes at home.” So………………

Would I be correct in surmising that “Spelly’s mob at Widnes.” would be the answer from some / most / all Chemics?

For me spelly yes, however last year we got Leigh in the semis the toughest draw and won then lost the final against a weaker opponent so I suppose a semi final anyone can beat anyone!

For a minute there I thought you were getting the beer in !
take York or fev at home if crowds are allowed maybe a decent turnout

no crowds swinton, then hopefully make the trip to Wembley as massive underdogs and have a good day out

Well,  neither of us got our way, and we’ve both been handed hugely difficult semis.

Is yours the (on paper) the harder of the two? Before Sunday, I’d have said defo, but our last couple of  games have been against our respective opponents, and York did more damage to us than did Fev, seven days previously. So from what I’ve seen recently, the difference is minimal.

We’ll both be massive underdogs, and I’m far from holding my breath but………

There’s no charge for dreaming, so let’s hope that we both can pull out summat special, and upset the apple cart!

Meantime – Come on you Lions on Sunday!
