    ————— is the tops!

Over the weekend, I was stupid enough to try to “de-wax” my ears with a cotton wood bud, and the head of it came off whilst still in my ear.

I phoned my GP’s, and was sat with the doc within an hour and a half. He examined me, and referred me to Hope Hospital, where after clocking on at A & E reception, I went to Minor Injuries, who painlessly removed it for me. Everything sorted by lunch time! Brilliant!

Everyone who saw me was pleasant, courteous, and a total credit to their profession!

The NHS is a national treasure, and there for us all, so that bungling, blond, bufoon in Downing Street, must not be allowed to get his hands on it!

Jeremy Corbyn got precious little right during the election, but his comment of “The NHS is not for sale!” was 101% bang on!

Didn’t take much to go from your idiotic move to blame the Tory’s….. Who do you hate more? The Tory’s or Salford?

Will be their fault for Corona Virus, lack of toilet roll & the weather next!!

What I do find funny is that nobody can trust Boris because he lies, but when nobody believed Corbyn’s magic wish list (I.e. he was lying) at least he had the right idea…!

Edit Irony alert ** Boris – The NHS is not for sale – “You liar”.  Corbyn – We’ll never sell the NHS. “woohoo. You’re THE man”.

Anyway back on topic, the NHS is awesome, 99.9999% of staff are great, and long may it continue.

P.S. Next time use cotton wool, not cotton wood 😉

    1) Defo the latter mate! I don’t hate the Tories, I just don’t trust em!

    2) Olive Oil the doc recommended. A bottle of which is now in my bathroom cabinet, and the buds have been dumped in the bin!

A few years ago I was hoovering the lounge wearing only my dressing gown, somehow the nozzle came off in my hand just as the suction lever switched to full power and, well, I’ll never be able to show my face – or anything else – in Warrington Infirmary A&E again😲

Corbyn was and still is a clown .. Johnson got in by showing him as “not a credable leader “

Is it not time to be pull together be patriotic etc etc and get behind the ELECTED government in this crisis. We all need not to thank god but thank the British electorates who voted Boris in. Corbyn running the country at any time would be horrendous but for him to be running the country in a major crisis would be both catastrophic and apocalyptic.

Sorry to hear about your ear Spelly, but was that the blonde, bungling buffoon who romped home at the election by a landslide ? Why, because the only buffoon in all this was that turnip Corbyn. A useless, weak, excuse for a leader who should have gone long ago. Is he still hanging around like a bad smell ? It’s the Labour party that need their ears cleaning out so they can hear the reality of the mess they are in.

    Not gonna argue mate!

The (my) party is un-electable at present, as the charisma at the top is just not there, and I can’t see it returning any time soon.

None of the three who are in the leadership election, jump out at you, but as a member, I’ve made my decision, and voted for the one I consider least weak! Am I out of order?

I’ll also go on record as saying that Johnson is currently doing a good job over the virus scenario, and doubt whether Corbyn could have coped similarly.

My visit to the hospital could and should have been avoided, but I was still greeted with the upmost courtesy and care, despite it being my own stupidity that I was there!

Heard it on the radio today, it was suggested that when this crisis is over there should be some kind of national celebration to recognise the efforts of the NHS staff.

I hope that nobody on this forum will need to go to hospital because of the virus, and I take my hat off to all NHS workers who are doing a great job whilst putting their own health at risk.

    Amen to that mate!

    Stay safe everybody!

The NHS are tremendous and (until recent efforts) far less appreciated than they deserve.
