Sympathy to anyone who has had the same nightmare as us trying to get a holiday Covid PCR certificate. Would advise anybody who needs a PCR test in time to go away to maybe go to somewhere like Rodney St and at least have a chance of getting the results back in time. Paid £127 each for postal tests. Posted as requested by the company. One came back a day after it was needed and as far as I can see the other is still in Warrington sorting office nearly a week later. Luckily Jet2 re-arranged our holiday but they will not let anybody fly without a certificate. Having looked at the reviews of quite a few of these companies, they seem happy to take your money but frankly couldn’t give a rat’s arse about whether or not you get your test in time. You could say well why don’t you just stay at home but if it’s a choice between the Canaries and Widnes I know which one I’d pick.

According to tonight’s news, you will have to isolate on your return from the Canaries.

Have a good holiday wherever you go.

No sympathy from me pure madness wanting to fly at the moment and sorry to be blunt but nobody cares you all knew the risks.

Was only trying to warn anyone who sends one of these Mick that they might end up disappointed. Not everyone wants to be a prisoner to Covid and I certainly don’t.

I know that mate no malice meant at all, just something that irks me and just my opinion.
