Rob Burrow - My Year with MND

Rugby league star Rob Burrow talks about his fight against motor neurone disease and how his rugby career has prepared him for the challenge.

Repeated BBC 1 Saturday

Watching the previews on BBC Breakfast this morning, this is going to be a difficult programme to watch.  Its just so difficult to see how badly his health has been affected in such a short time.  My heart goes out to him, his family, his friends and everybody that is suffering because of MND.

Didn't realise just how quickly it could strike - makes you realise how lucky most of us are.

I watched this today. I always liked Rob Burrow as a player and it is so sad to see how this terrible illness has taken him over so quickly. Very sad.

I watched it on catch up. It is awful to see how much he has deteriorated in such a short space of time. It was very moving & very, very sad.  Thoughts are with him & his family.
