Got to say that I have been more impressed that I thought I would be. He is a top worker and a great leader and example to our youngsters - hope they follow his lead!!!!
His tackling commitment has amazed me tbh. Well collected Tim!

Yes he’s playing well. There was talk at the time of us signing Shaun Lunt, before he signed for Batley, but I think we’ve got the better player in Tompkins.

I thought at the time that Shaun Lunt offered the better option, but really proved wrong. Tomkins has been a consistent performer this year and has shown 100% commitment, as has Smith. Great signings.
