Another member of the '64 CC team sadly gone. Condolences to the family and friends.

He got his spot on the wing in the '64 final over Johnny Gaydon, but never let the team down. Can still remember his trademark grubber kick and follow-up, which brought him a number of tries.

Also had a great chippie in Lowerhouse Lane.  Great fish and chips and service with a smile from Billy and his wife.

And now Bobby Chisnall. A great winger RIP snd another cup winner from that same team.

Two very good players for Widnes, and great servants to the club. Billy was very unorthodox and often scored tries from nothing. Had some pace too. Frank Myler and Billy were my first two stand out Widnes players in the late 50s and early 60s. Bobby Chisnall was a really good winger who had played for Lancashire in his Wigan days. He also had some pace, and defensively,  he was rock solid. Two more if the 64 team sadly now departed.  RIP to both, and condolences to the families.
