All I was trying to point out and play devils advocate was that in that time period it has been split pretty much 50/50 between the 2 main parties. Again there have been lots of mistakes from all of them, but some are legacies that are passed on for the next generation (PFI's being 1). I think they're all a shower of sh** tbf.

No matter whatever the result, as I mentioned earlier, the Labour Party was on a loser here, but.............
Hopefully, it'll be less of a farce come the General Election, and also more than four out of ten Rochdalians will bother their arses, and head to the polling booth.

This is what happens when mainstream political parties fail to do their jobs; people turn to extremists.
The Government, and the opposition (well, Labour), should have been calling out Israel as the murderers that they are. But they haven't been, they've been too busy pussy-footing around in case anyone accuses them of being anti-semitic.
As said 100 times, anti-semitic and anti-Israel are not the same thing. Anti-semitic is a horrible racist slant on a cohort of undeserving people. Anti-Israel is a stance against a rogue state who perpetually carries out war crimes against an occupied territory. They should be held accountable. They are no better than Russia.
But, we can't go there. We're too scared to have the debate.
So, now we have loons being elected to Parliament and the Prime Minister coming on telly clamping down on our right to protest. We've completely fu**ed this up. A car crash in slow motion, been obvious for ages all this.
How do you Northern Tories feel about the "levelling up" fiasco? Let me enlighten you; it was a lie from it's concept, it's lie now, it will always be a lie. Tories hate the North.
It can't be easy knowing that you've been duped to this magnitude. But remember, you were warned and decried it. You're probably still prepared to argue for it yet, there must be some small part of your soul that knows you've been taken for a fool. Yet, some of you will still vote for the b*stards regardless.
