not so sure about that, hitting him once round the head is clumsy, hitting him again with the other arm is pushing it but then pulling his head back with both arms as he was falling is outright dangerous

I don't understand what you think Hill has done, you type that as if he has the time to think about that second arm movement based on the point of contact on his first arm.  Hill wraps his arms around as he does as he's trying to cover the ball to stop Powell scoring, a split second earlier and he probably does this.  I agree he deserved the red card based purely on point of impact but his instinct was to try and stop the try, not an intentional dangerous tackle.

He is absolutely no where near the ball , he had the whole body to aim for , it's not even as if Powell  was stooping, he was upright and still looking backwards at the ball

Hill got nothing but his head with both arms, he could have easily wrapped his right arm around the torso in a grab movement,  instead he had them both high around the head and made absolutely no attempt to go anywhere near the body, arms or ball

Absolutely no where near the ball?  His forearm is on top of the ball touching it!  Powell not stooping?  Previous frame he's upright, at contact he's one metre from the line and dipping to slide over.  Chris Hill's arm is not at a high level, it's across his own chest height and Powell is dipping down to score.  His second arm is even lower to start.  I've already stated it's clumsy but half a second faster and Hill may have got underneath the ball.  Red card yes, but intentional, dirty and everything else I've read about it it's not.

Hill

and yet here he is with both arms down by his side and the whole body to aim for yet both end up round his head in a bear hug

and i never said it was intentional because it it was he should have got 8 games, i disagreed that it was clumsy, that would imply he was off balance or mistimed his tackle, it was a reckless and dangerous tackle which ended up with Hill having the mans head in a bear hug and pulling at it as he fell, unless you think he thought that was the ball as well

Three match ban according to the Wire 'site.

Seems pretty fair to me.
