Surprised I haven't seen this on here.

Wakey taken over and will be appointing Daryl Powell on a 4-yr deal. Sounds like aspirations to stay FT and meet IMG criteria at the first attempt. New stand opening at the ground for next year as well.

Obvs be the team to beat next season.

wakey will be every teams target to beat, depends on who they retain of course

Wakey is a personal target for me next term, coz with Leeds and HKR, it's where I've never come away from smiling!

I've seen us win at the likes of Pies, Saints, and of course Toulouse, but never at Belle Vue, Headingley, or CP.

Spelly.

Powell confirmed at Wakey. Be interesting to see the players they bring in.

I don't think one stand will polish the turd that is that ground.  I have absolutely no sympathy for Wakefield after all their false promises on ground improvements over the years that allowed them to stay in SL.

Not to surprised, when they’re only charging £100 to stand without cover or £150 to stand under cover

@farnworth-viking I would gladly pay 100 quid to stand without cover.

Sounds like jealousy to me.Why not say well done Wakefield, instead ? Widnes would struggle to shift 3500 tickets even at that price and in the comfort of sitting down.Good luck to them I say.

Reading Wakefield's social media they are at over 4000 season tickets now.Fair enough the price is cheap and includes free ones for juniors but if Widnes did the same thing it would be the best thing since sliced bread.Because it's someone else then it has to be kicked.

@widnes77 You would have to splash 💦 out on a waterproof jacket as well, knowing what the British weather is like, even in summer!
