No game (and not for a long time) for the first team this weekend, so a change of tack for me, as our wheelchair team have their first outing tomorrow morning, and I'll be over at Cas to watch the proceedings.
On Sunday, my heart will be in Cardiff, where the ladies there take on their Pinks' counterparts. A win for the hosts will mean the Lionesses are in play-off football. COME ON YOU DEMONS!!!!!!!

Well spelly, a very long wait for your next game - assuming you have not applied for SL (don’t see why not as 12 have so far )
we will await the format of the one league below the promised land, I am sure we will not be in there.
one league, hopefully each team plays every other once and they work out the extra 4/5 ties.

1) It sure is mate! Poss friendly / friendlies in January is the earliest I can see us kicking a ball in anger again. And no, we've not applied to be with the big boys!
2) I don't think you'll be dining at the top table next term either. Also, as has been mentioned elsewhere, I can envisage a "no relegation" clause being installed in the extended SL for a season at least. So 2028 at the soonest I reckon, for saying "Chemics" and "Super League" in the same sentence.
3) I'd also go for playing every team once, but I'd stick at the twenty games it'd create. No loop fixtures please!

Cas 34-16 Lions this morn, in our first ever wheelchair game.
10-0 down in no time, then we hit back to lead 16-10 at the interval, but experience and quality told from then on, and we didn't trouble the scorers after the restart.
It was also my first wheelchair game, and I can totally recommend it! Fast, and fierce!

Well mes amis, I've had better weekends!
Our first team were inactive, but on Friday, the Warriors lost at home to the Eels, and (i know you mob will be laughing) the Pinks won at Wire, then.............
This aft Cardiff's ladies lost at home to the Pinks, thus meaning my least fave team secure the last play-off place, and deny the Lionesses.
Never mind, there's always next season! 🤣 🤣
Spelly.
PS - And only four out of six right in the Prediction League!
Well it’s one league then !
that is good news indeed, but we await the fixture structure, assuming 21 teams - (which it may be not ) like you say play each other once giving 20 games, plus playoffs and 1895 cup and challenge cup will give minimum of 22 games a season
hopefully 11 home games which should be financially sustainable for most clubs
