I hope you can do us a favour & beat London this weekend. But not that confident you will.

And ditto from us mate!
If you can do the biz over at LL, it won't do us any harm at all, but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
We've still gotta put another W in our results column!
Here's hoping for a double!
Spelly.
Lions 6-12 Broncos this aft, and prob a fair result over the eighty.
We were 10-0 down at the break, and had never looked like scoring, but...........
We got a six pointer early doors after the re-start, and had a bit of momentum, but......
Couldn't capitaise on it, due in the main to their good defence, and the only other score after that, was a pen for them from bang in front of the posts.
No change at the bottom, as all teams around us, also lost.
No game for a fortnight now, when it's a trip to KIngston Park, in what is a must win game against Thunder.
Spelly.
Another set of crucial games at the danger end of the Championship this weekend, as all those involved continue to battle against putting Penryn, Colwyn Bay, et al into the sat-navs for next term.
You can do us a huge favour, by beating troubled 'Haven, the Cougars are across La Manche, and Monday's game sees Barrow at Odsal, whilst......................
We head to the North East, where if we can do the biz, I reckon Thunder would be pretty much doomed for the dreaded drop, but...............
I'm sure they'll be thinking "We won at their gaff, so let's do it at home as well!"
It looks like we're taking a decent following, so hopefully we can return with smiles on our faces!
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!
Spelly.
Our away game with Toulouse will be staged in Carcassonne, due to Olympique's "normal" gaff being used by the Japan Yawnion World Cup team.
Coaches are being laid on to take fans to and from Toulouse, but..............
The ironic scenario is that a load of us are flying into Carcassonne, whilst staying in our "usual" hotel of the IBIS in Toulouse!
So it's land in Carcassonne, and train to Toulouse on the Thursday. Coach to and from the game on the Saturday, then train back to Carcassonne on the Monday!
Spelly.
Well, we went up one place yesterday, and we don't kick a ball until today!
Keighley got stuffed big style in Toulouse, so we're now above 'em on points diff!
In my hotel in Newcastle at present, then off up to KP later, where hopefully we can avenge the Round 1 loss they inflicted on us.
It looks like there's gonna be a healthy Lions' following, so fingers crossed, we can do the biz.
And of course, we're already smiling, coz the Pinks didn't trouble the scorers yesterday against Les Cats!
Good luck to the Chemics too, as you can do us a favour by beating 'Haven.

That’s a pity spelly as if you could change your hotel to carcossonne - perfect
good luck and enjoy !
What a sickener!
Just got back where it finished Thunder 25-19 Lions, which they won with the last play of the match!
10-0 to them at half time which stretched to 18-6. We scored two converted tries to draw level, and banged over a drop to nudge us in front, but.............
The got the ball from a short kick off, and equalised with their own one pointer, and just as were were all saying "I'll settle for a draw!" they broke down the left, split the posts, and the hooter went before the con had been taken!
It was quiet and subdued car coming home, but just before the M1/M62 junction we experienced a very sobering experience, coz..............
As the traffic slowed to a crawl, there was this burnt out shell of a car, along with two police car on the hard shoulder, with (I presume) the occupants stood just over the barrier, and I said to the others "And we thought we had problems!" Just hope there were no injuries.
Thank you beating 'Haven and our game next week at home to Keighley takes on even more importance!
Spelly.
Another huge weekend at the danger end of the Championship awaits.
I've already mentioned in the Newcastle thread on the Widnes page, that you could do us a huge favour by doing the biz up at KP, but......
We of course, need to help ourselves, and get the better of fellow strugglers Keighley, who come to our gaff on Sunday.
Due to a(nother) glut of injuries, we've managed to obtain four guys on loan until the end of term. One from Cas, two from Wakey, and one from Hunslet.
Last week's sickener at Thunder means that the Cougars' clash must result in two points for us, or we'll be seriously looking at trips to Penryn, and Colwyn Bay next term, instead of to coming to see you at NP.
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Spelly.
@spelly With your good win over Keighley today I think you will stay up now Spelly.

Thanks for that mate, but we're nowhere near safe yet, coz it was a............
Another heart stopper for the Lions' faithful today, when it finished Swinton 18-10 Keighley,
Whilst we were never behind, the Cougars never went away, and for any neutral there, it was prob a good game to watch.
Elsewhere, Barrow ducked to the Broncos, which added to your win yest, means we're up to eleventh on the ladder, but 'Haven stay above us, coz they beat Sheff at the Rec.
Next for the Lions is a fortnight, when we're across la Manche, and where I won't be holding my breath to add a W to our tally, but..................
Meantime, it's down to that Little Corner of Middlesex, that'll be forever Rugby League next week for Leythers v Robins.
Spelly.
So after the break for Wembley, we're off across la Manche for our next game to play Toulouse, in a clash that's been switched to Carcassonne, coz Japan Yawnion are using Olympique's "normal" ground as a base for the World Cup.
Flying out of Manchester on Thursday to Carcassonne, but we (and the majority of Lions who are making the trip) booked our hotel in Toulouse (long) before we knew of the venue change.
We reserved our best performance of the season for when we played 'em at home, so no doubt they'll be thirsting for revenge on Saturday.
COME ON YOU LIONS!!!!!!
Spelly.
Olympique 26-6 Lions yesterday, and an outstanding performance from my mob!
Oppressive heat, and against FT opposition, I couldn't be prouder!
We scored first, and led 6-4 at the break, meaning the hundred or so traveling fans were bouncing.
As you know, I'm always reluctant to criticise refs, but one or two decisions seemed at the best, iffy to me.
We pushed a team with SL aspirations, in temps that I've never witnessed in all my time watching this game, to the limit!
We just need to recreate that next week when the Bulls come to ours.
Spelly.
Good result that spelly - you be ok this year

Keighley beating Batley has not helped. They've now gone above us on points diff.
They're at Fev next week, whilst we host Bradford.
It's gonna be a real roller coaster until end of term, and I see it going to the wire. We go to 'Fax on the last day.
Incidentally, I read you post on the York thread, so where's home? Obviously not Ditton! 🤣
