............. doesn't think he's the man to lead us at the World Cup, he knows it!
From posts I've read on Facebook, and elsewhere, there's not 101% agreement from the fans, and that defo includes yours truly!
If we are to even dream of winning the big 'un next year, it has to be under a different head coach!
I approached the Ashes with my usual (delusional?) Swintoian optimism, but it wasn't to be, and they whitewashed us with a bit to spare!
The omission of Jake Connor was criminal, and that was proved beyond doubt on Saturday, when Brimson was injured, and Lewis had to fill in at last line!
Taxi for Wane!
Spelly.
I always get the feeling that Wane is a troubled chap, feeling lost because he not occupied.
It must have been a shock leaving Wigan but he still sounds way out of date in his game plan talk, still 'get stuck in' and we'll shake em up!'
You get the feeling that the Aussies were expecting that and were ready for it.
On a completely different tack I wonder how many noticed Gordon Tallis in the Aussie dressing room? He looks massive still! Now if your talking about biff and bash!!!!!!!!
I have mixed feelings on it. I mean, yes he is RL's Sam Allardyce. But really, he's dealing with the deck he's been dealt. All these guys play 5 charges and a cross-field kick every week in SL, they're not exactly going to turn into Alex Murphy just because Wane asks them to play differently.
The Aussie game isn't that different but the seem to be able to spring different plays into their game which hardly see over hear.
Most NRL sides have set pieces for occasions, like losing close to the end of a game when a move erupts and get a win. All pretty obviously pre planned.
