What away spectators, the one coach load that followed Catalan? I doubt very much if the cash raised from that will support a club.
Comes back to the point, why would you support a fake club parachuted into you area unless it was top flight with superstars?
Liverpool; they would have to play at Marine, Bootle, Waterloo or Prescot Cables for example-no chance of any kind of crowd coming to watch them there and no chance of progression to SL with those Stadia. Harrogate- they have got a 4G pitch but the football team is doing very well…. Why not just leave it completely….
they could call themselves Liverpool Stanley or Liverpool city - the wheel turns its full circle !

How many in Liverpool would know who was a star?
Good point, I work in Liverpool and the only people who ever speak about RL are people from Widnes or Wigan who work there too!
Or when we get hammered and everyone seems to know the score on the Monday morning!!!
Are there even any star players in today's game ? Players of genuine star quality and presence whom neutrals and fans of other clubs would pay to watch.Hanley, Meninga, Offiah,Gregory, Long, Newlove etc.
No wonder RL in this country is an absolute laughing stock. You couldn't make this nonsense up.
There isn't even enough interest for a laughing stock. Most people are oblivious to the game of RL here.

Absolutely 100% spot on.
Anyone in Harrogate who wants to watch RL will be doing so already.
Exactly. This is York City Knights catchment area, surely. The RFL should be stopping any new clubs (or relocating clubs) start up within a 20 mile radius of an existing club, IMO.
Paulie xx
They're re-locating to..........................
Cornwall!
Playing out of Falmouth apparently!
Rugby League never ceases to amaze!
Spelly.
Well who’d have thought it!
Looks like spelly has another long trip to watch his beloved Swinton - Penryn in Cornwall is the new home.
Cornish cream teas all round!
They have been building the game well down there, got it being played in primary and secondary schools, got a grant for part funding a stadium, plenty of RU players to convert...good luck to them ...

Not exactly round the corner is it?
But.............
I'll (sorry, we'll) be there!
I can think of worse things than a weekend in Cornwall, with a bit of the Greatest Game on the Planet thrown in!
Bring it on! 😀
Spelly.
Absolute joke.I assume the RL have consulted with the division three clubs over this decision ? I'll give it two years at best.
