The danger is that it would become the ‘Marwan Koukash Show’. He likes to be controversial and grab headlines. Some may find it amusing but is that what the club needs? Financial input from a less obvious source with a genuine feeling for the club would be a better option, but I’m not holding my breath on either front tbh!
I think the game might need one or two showmen at the moment - the game, in general, needs something to interest the public.

Agree with the need for someone to take the game as a whole by the scruff of the neck to shake it up a bit. He might well be suited to that role, no worries about any individual club and could see the wider picture maybe.
Really hinges on the characters involved in the Leigh connection. Both Marwan and Beaumont like to be 'in charge' and they could be, but I guess not for long!!!!
Koukash is talking to Leigh about getting involved, was told this over the weekend.
Leigh may well tidy up their coaching/recruitment system after dropping out of SL.
They seem to have signed pretty well anyone they could in the hope of finding a new recipe rather than a good coach taking a studied view of his requirements.
