Degsy wants the suitability of the stadia as part of the SL considerations, criticising the use of soccer grounds.
I would certainly require SL teams to have full sized pitches as a mark that we are now 'professional' rather that an amateur bunch of lads playing for fun!!! Places like Castleford are quaint but don't fit the high line aimed at for the peak clubs.
Controversial comments (not for the first time on here) and, I admit it would be hugely difficult to implement, but................
Should we fans have a say in what the future of the sport we all love? I'm far from convinced we should, because, and I'm as guilty here as anyone, and everyone, but..............
Surely, your normal Joe Public supporter (and prob CEOs / directors / chairmen / owners too) will always think of "My club first, game second." In my opinion, it should be the other way round!
Rugby League needs to be administered / ran / governed by people that are.....
1) Very clever, and.............
2) Have no club affiliations / connections, so...........
I'll say it before you do, that both those credentials rule me out immediately, but.............
Is there anyone out there in this wide world who is capable of ticking both boxes?
Your (unbiased 🤣) opinions would be greatly appreciated!
Spelly.

I fear that we could fall between two stools looking for the crock of gold as a 'creme de la creme' class sport with low standards on some aspects of our 'product'. Then again, can we compete with soccer, should we compete with soccer?????
The 'match day experience' is a case in point with a requirement, it seems, for loud, poor quality, music every time play stops! My requirements for a good match day are two good teams with no extra attractions, but obviously I am out of date!!!!!
