I’ve heard the Chairman of IMG is someone called Mr Woods🙄
The Bulls are twelfth overall on the IMG ratings, and "top" of the "B" league, below the likes of HKR, Pies, and the Rhinos, who of course are all "A" rated, so under the "rules" they're automatically in.
Jason Hirst, their CEO, has just been on 5Live stating that " -------- Bradford Bulls are currently running at a profit ------"
But, will they continue in that financial vein, when they're paying out (full-time) SL salaries every month? Will the (predicted) increase in revenue through the turnstiles / sponsorship, cover the increased outgoings they're gonna have? Time will tell.
We all pretty much knew anyway, that Odsal will be hosting top tier football from next term, but now it's official!
I don't mind admitting that I'm disappointed, coz there's (in my opinion) teams who warranted / deserved "promotion" more.
Of course, there's still two, from probably the trio of York, Toulouse, and London, who'll join 'em tomorrow, so, who's gonna miss out?
The more I think of it, the more unsure I become, so (for once in my life 🤣) I'm sitting on the fence with this one!
Spelly.

*Apologies, should've typed tenth instead!*

How have London got so many points? As this is based on last season’s figures (before the Australian take over ), when they’ve finished in the bottom 4 of the championship with average crowds of 800

Doesn't this sum up the farce that is RL? We are talking about how many points a team can amass on a spreadsheet determining promotion, rather than points earned on the pitch.
Could we really see a team finishing 10th in the Championship being promoted, ahead of the team finishing top of the league and the team finishing 2nd and winning the play-off?
It definitely looks like you have a better chance to pay your way into SL, rather than play your way in.
Toulouse and York deserve the extra places - bradfraud was a given when sir Nigel went back to the RFL
So it's TOXlll, and the Knights to join a team whose ground is from another age in SL next term eh?
What sort of a fixture list can we as supporters of tier two teams expect?
There's gonna be twenty-one clubs of varying quality in there, so what format will it be?
Too many to play every other team home and away, so....
East and West, similar to when there just one league yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeears ago? But..............
Then the likes of London, Midlands, and Newcastle weren't even thought of.
Play every other team once, meaning there'd be (say) Chemics v Lions, and not Lions v Chemics? But....
That'd mean just ten home games, which prob won't be enough to keep the bank manager smiling.
Suggestions please!

It's all a sham Spelly, the game outside SL will be allowed to wither and die maybe over a couple of years.
If you want SL you have to rent a space at an ever increasing rate.
If you want a Championship League you finance it!
