With all the SL games now being televised (even if we can’t watch them all anymore ), do you think we should bring in Captains Challenge, like the Aussies have?
Given the current poor state of the game over here (both on and off the field), my suggestion would be to address those problems first, rather than introducing what would really be just another 'gimmick' into the Sport.
I think it’s a help if used sensibly, I’ve seen quite a few refereeing decisions overturned watching the Aussie matches on tv. It would certainly have helped Widnes out on Sunday, if , and I know we won’t, had had it in our matches
Let's be honest, we don't have the 'bunker' capacity for looking at TV footage. The video refs that we use on SL games are just as bad as the plonkers on the field.
As viewers how many of us agree with the video ref's decisions?
The Harry Robertson try, last week at Huddersfield was a shocking decision IMHO. Lomax's pass to Ritson went 4 yards forward. Apparently not a forward pass as it came out the 'back of his hands'. Never heard so much BS in my life. The Ref's decisions are backed by his TJs, the VR and the commentary team. They are beyond reproach.
