The club are annpuncing 6 more players into the Hall of Fame from the1970s era.
I would go for the following
Ray Dutton
Stuart Wright
Eric Hughes
Mal Aspey
Reggie Bowden
Mike O'Neill
Can't argue with that list.
Tony only started in 79 as good as he was don't think he gets in a 70s hall of fame. Ray will surely be in as he was still playing when the last hall of famers where selected which meant he couldn't be indited
Who are already in the H of F ?
Paulie xx
Not sure what attributes a player needs to be a hall of fame. Everyone will have different ideas favourite player's, who decides this and what method of selection is used ?. Imo too much recognition is given to the more skillful player's which is not the right way. There is no magic formula to decide but how do they decide.
My personal choice would be Alan Dearden a 100% player all of the time that went noticed but was the best and hardest tackler and grafter that I have ever had the privilege to watch.
Anybody else care to select one player with an explanation why ?.
Is there any reason why the newly inducted will be limited to the 1970s?
