The way I see it, nearly all of our players are on 12 month deals, so if he has signed for the season its not that much different.

Agree, if he puts in the sort of shift he did against Newcastle (minus the sinbin!) he will be asset to the side this season.  We need (at least) another prop and Doro fits the bill.

Alongside  Farnworth he should be a powerful addition, high energy levels and some solid conflict.

Except that Warrington can recall him at any time during this season should they wish to.

As they did for our Challenge Cup match.

It doesn't sit well to be dependent on the generosity / fortunes of other teams, clubs (unless we absolutely have to be / have no choice).

There are no reserves and some Super League Teams must have lots of younger players with nowhere to play. It may be a masterstroke by Widnes but we are beholden to fortune, Wire lets not pretend otherwise.

Younger players like Eribe Doro you mean?

He wasn't recalled for Challenge Cup, he just wasn't permitted to play so that he didn't become cup tied.
