Decent effort.

Try before half time and the one from the short kick off the killers.

Sun only went in the last 5 minutes of the game, full time opposition and a referee that at best, was poor.

JJ great effort full 80 in the middle.

Try on half time and the first 20 minutes of the second half lost us that game.

im all for playing expansive rugby but that was too much when it wasn’t needed at times just try and build some pressure wear them down.

a good effort in current circumstances but a loss is a loss and it’s disappointing

Good effort, bit disorganised at times and still a loss. However, we go again next time against York, and I hope to be at that one.

I enjoyed Murphy's try, he did well against three defenders.

We looked sloppy with some passes probably tired with the heat and low squad depth not helping. Need 2 or 3 loans and some extra speed. Effort is their but definitely need reinforcements now.

I didn't catch what Alan Coleman said on the pre match interview, was it that Field picked up a knock?

I’ll tell you one thing from the first 20.

Nisbet is an absolute liability in defence. Both tries his poor D and Whitehaven targeted him last week with Maizen lave. Ashall will do the same today

Bang on, unfortunately, as he does run the ball well. Think Fleming will feel hard done to if he's not back in the team next week.

Think we played okay today considering the injury’s we have, lots of commitment and effort but unfortunately couldn’t seem to get a grip of the game with silly mistakes here and there, the killer was the halftime try which was just poor lazy defence and then going short when arguably we didn’t need too as there was 20 mins still to play however can’t really fault the lads that was out there in the conditions and against a strong Toulouse squad we did well to be within 8 points. Would like to see Roby in for edge as I think he’s made a poor start to the season and sort of kills the attacking play expect we will renew Nisbits loan for a further 2 weeks but could really work on his defence as it is a problem. On another day with our full squad we would’ve beat them!

I mentioned nisbetts mistakes in the whitehaven game last week for a couple of their tries, he might stay with us for the rest of this season as it adds cover for injuries and provides competition for places.

Decent performance for majority of game but a bit lacking at the start of the second half. Needed to move Lloyd out into The centre to shore up the defence

but still didn’t capitulate in the heat

johnstone mom for me
