I think if hadn't had week off he should stay same 18, The week off nullifies that for me and we play our strongest. That includes Jack.
Agree but what's your view on Gregson ?. Not offered much and doesn't do many minutes, but it's nice to have options for a change. No room for sentiment in sport always play your best team.Will be very interesting to see how AC goes about this one, good performance against Bradford.

I reckon Jack will start and langtree benching, not sure who makes way though - best would be butt and gregson, but as they both ACs boys not sure it will happen

Bad result, game was there for the taking in the first half, team did not show up in the second half.

@ditton-donkey I don't think it's we didn't show up apart from jack being there best player the effort is there the pack played well jj passing was pretty awful but we controlled the game ! I think the main problem is we don't create enough or have enough attacking players to put games away no one that can do something to beat a man or change a game
I didn't go tonight but always said need an X Factor number 6 to break teams down, take the line on and Jack Owens over rated. Roby at 6 or fullback. Once Dixon fit has to go fullback and another big forward requirement. When is Reilly back playing?
Don’t think we broke the line once from linking up with the fullback, When Roby played he was fast, tricky and broke tackles unless injured it’s an absolute joke he didn’t even make the bench. Owen’s today chose every wrong option done 1 kick that resulted in a knock on and even that was spawny, he doesn’t lead us around the pitch doesn’t get us fired up he hasn’t offered much for the past 2 years now it’s time we stopped picking based on name and picking based on performance. Coleman still has a lot of work to do and some big questions he needs to ask himself.
@ratboy It was bloody cold tonight and maybe that's why there were probably as many Batley supporters as Vikings fans.
IMHO our defence was excellent until the last 15 minutes. But we seemed to panic when we were attacking their line. The ball was just flung in the general direction of our players, resulting in dropped balls and missed catches!
Nevertheless, for most of the 80 minutes it was a good contest but I'm glad that I took a flask of hot chocolate to keep warm.
What a let down. First half bossed it. But AC must have given a Betts half time team talk and we go to crunchie.
Some players just not firing or gelling in second half.
Jack was flat, bit rusty and had the big howler dropped ball.
JJ had some reet shocking passes (one that went forward about 3m’s!)
Joey telegraphed the intercept.
Fleming was anonymous.
Plus side Murray is awesome.
Ollie was a danger all game.
Some grunt and biff in Langtree.
Shouldn’t have thrown it away but good signs when this team hits the straps in a few games time.
Not arsed about cups let’s turn it on for league starting next week.
