Regarding the standard of Officiating generally, I have found it to be poor over the last couple of seasons. Players have the right to be refereed according to the rules/laws of the game - it just isn't happening.

The 3 players Swinton had on loan against us last week have been recalled by their clubs, and they’ve got none from their Dual reg club Saints.

The 'win at all costs' logic by the Swinton coaches is particularly bad in a section of the game where most players have to work for their living. There may well be coaches who have the same view but also the wit to save it to the dressing room!!!

Who cares this is a Widnes fans forum and his opinions mean nothing. I am more interested in James's opinion as I heard they picked up on radio what the scum where shouting.
I think people think it matters because he’s a , usually , unbiased Swinton fan, and would like to hear his take on it. But I think we can tell from his lack of posts on the subject, he must think they’re guilty, otherwise he would have been on here defending them.
Whenever I have read a post from Spelly it’s always been in good taste and never offensive, I think he’s probably just trying to stay out of it and that’s fair enough imo.

Spelly has been a member of our board for years and brings an unbiased view to it as well as joining the debate, As do other members from other clubs. It may be a Widnes board but as far as I'm concerned everyone is welcome as long as they bring something to the debate unlike some whose only comments spread distaste or derision.👍
