Not sure if correct but think he was at Fev last year iirc he played pretty well at our place, having said that we were awful defensively. Swinton have signed Kabula so there are options in the market for shall we say larger prop forwards.
@7-vikingnomad Fiji international!! Played super league and was at Fev too I think a much bigger body than bent at prop and yes Newcastle or York reserves as they are now known
@vikingfox71 I concur totally with your sentiments , his loyalty to 5 or 6 players who have proved that they are not good enough to be in a top 4 side is not only surprising but sadly ridiculous and I am afraid will end up with disappointment for us season ticket holders .
@hillview I don't understand keeping a backline that has struggled to score points for 2 years even when we got in play offs we scrapped a lot of low scoring games even with our new stand off I struggle to see us breaking down the better teams
sadly I always feel we try not too lose rather than try to win
Halifax have just announced their squad numbers and a stand off from Gold Coast Titans. They look to have made some good signings so after a 5th place finish last season must be favourites for 3rd place behind London and Oldham. The only problem I can see for them is they only have 22 players so must be planning to rely on the loan market.
