Hopefully your right and it does not matter because Maizen looks a very good player at this level. Some of Colemans selections baffled me last year mate, but we all have different opinions on players. I am just the type of person to give praise and also negative feedback, as I just want the best team for my club. 👍👌

Hes picked all the new signings outside the 17 other than Wilde who used to be no 11 for us last time he was here. You would expect Abdull, Chapelhow and Bibby to be in the 17. Owens is a centre now, but surprised Maizen wasnt given the number 1 shirt given he was first choice full back after he signed last season.
Coleman seems to be a decent bloke with the clubs best interest at heart he's also loyal to his players whether the players deserve that loyalty is debatable still 2 years in !! Signing the same players that weren't good enough last season and expecting them to be top 4 is a crazy move that could cost him dearly, finishing 6,7,8 this season with HIS team as nd a weaker division will probably see him sacked
I don’t think squad numbers are important in this day and age, for me Australia does it right with whoever is playing has that number in the back of their shirt. Hardly ever say kids with names and numbers on the backs of their rugby’s shirt.
However, people are entitled to be confused by some of the choices. I would have thought/likes Maizo to get 1. Don’t really understand Bent at 10 and not a fan of Gregson at 13. Sometimes players request a specific number so who knows 😂. Couldn’t care less what number a player has on their back if they’re playing well and contributing.

Coleman is out of his depth as this season will prove once and for all.
I fully admire some of our fanbases loyalty no matter what ...but if some genuinely think there's nothing to read in bent and gregson getting the 10 and 13 shirts I suggest you pop off to the halliwell and join the rest of the deluded ....see you all in let's say February when gregson has got everyone pulling their hair out ...and benty has had 37 stitches in his face from getting flattened every carry
AC may well be out of his depth but he has a great attitude and is doing a lot more for the club than previous managers whilst back in the championship. I believe the club is starting to look like they’re putting some effort into the “club” rebuild with appointing rolty and Sherlock to try and get some interest and investment going. The lack of training gear before Christmas isn’t a good start to the DBeau sports gear contract

I am one of the few that agree with you mate. I think Benty and Gregson will be starters and it does worry me a little, especially that we need another big prop punching holes down the middle. Chapelhow a bigger lad, but another is required mate. Gregson on the other hand is not great and I would rather him be gone.
