@spelly 1. Who knows but not to know at this stage is totally shambolic by the RL administrators. No surprise though is it really?

2.Of course not but as has been stated on here before there are some  reasons for it. Not owning the ground, no sugar daddy, little of bar & food takings coming into the club etc etc.

However surely you must also feel League 1 is not good enough for Swinton?

1) Nobody on the outside knows, and nobody on the inside is (yet) saying anything concrete.

2) Ditto at the Lions to all those!

3) We're second on the ladder, so that would signify we're currently at the level where we deserve to / should be. A mass exodus of players at the end of last term (three to NP) totally decimated our squad, and (hindsight's easy I know) we'd have struggled in the middle tier had we stayed up. Hunslet, who beat us in that play-off game, are the cellar-dwellers, which would seem to prove my point.

Going back to what's gonna happen next term, do I want one or two tiers below SL? I'm 101% unsure mate! Let's see what (if they happen) the play-offs bring, and what the game's hierarchy finally settle for eh?

Spelly.

@pauliewalnuts That’s sitting down  which costs £3 more, , as I said, I was talking about standing up,which is level with the pitch , just one person deep, and your view of the corner obstructed by the coaching staff of each team standing on the side of the pitch looking what was happening, where the majority of the Widnes fans were.
I don’t know what would happen if they got 1,500-there, as the only other place to watch , the grassy banks at the side are now roped off. In fact a better view was the coach car park, where 3/4 people were stood, and which is free🙄

You'll know what to do next time we play them 😉
