Well, the Widnes Rejects set about holders Halifax in the 1895 Cup. Craven, The Twins, Farnsy, and a MOM display by Adam Lawton has all but knocked out Fax. Looks like it says the players still have a hunger, and Oldham will definitely by moving upwards.

They are playing in a better side for sure even if they're in league below us,they'll be on the up and wouldn't surprise me in the least if they do pretty well in the 1895.

@sinbad very good point. About time now this club started making some of its own statements and stop living in the past. We really need to grow in this IMG era

Between them I'd guess they'll miss 50+ games this season, fair play to them for knocking Halifax out though makes our route to Wembley easier
