Players leaving

Alan Coleman said last night he is only going to keep 15/17 players from this years squad, so who do you think the 6/8 players will be that leave at the end of the season.

Out of those not yet announced (A lot signed new 2 year deals last season), Lloyd and M.Roberts would be the key two remaining retentions for me. Would leave us in need of new halves and several props, but that is the general consensus anyway.

Well that's next season fudged as well we don't have many worth keeping, saying that and announcing SL interest is mind boggling to say the least.

I’d say Patton, Bailey, Williams, condon, will be on the way out.

So how many are contracted for next season already? Benty, Lawton, Joe Edge, Jack Owens, Dan Murray, lloyd, Foz,Gregson, JJ, Gilmore, Lyons, Langtree Butt, Fleming. Max Roberts. That is 15 players. The ones i question is Langtree because always injured and Gregson I do not rate, but hope proves me wrong and plays better soon.

If Big Ben loves it here like some are saying then we need to try get him signed up for next year, he’s been great since joining but no doubt super league will be his destination unfortunately.

Condon will  be snapped up.If not by a current SL club then one of the promoted ones. Why would he turn it down to stay with a ninth placed second division team ?

Why did he come here in the first place?

Why didn’t he sign for Leigh then maybe come here or a bigger club on loan ?

@farnworth-viking to basically prove he's made a full recovery from his accident that scuppered his move to Leigh ...nature of his injuries Leigh considered it too bigger risk...if murmurings are true he'll be a Leigh player in 2026
